I have participated in Día de los Muertos installations in San Francisco and Albuquerque. I was first invited by René Yáñez at the Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco. René curated the exhibits at MCCLA, SOMARTS, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. I later worked with the Marigold Project curated by Rosa deAnda at Potrero del Sol Park, the Exploratorium, and the Davies Symphony Hall. In 2024 I exhibited at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque curated by Augustin Romero.

On the table sits a large silver plate, apparently empty, but filled with air. White spirit quetzal birds adorn the inner space, while fans adorn the outside walls. Everything refers to air. An electric fan was installed above to create a light win
These are the inner walls of the Air altar under construction in my studio.
These are the outer walls of the Air altar. The clouds contain the Mayan glyph for wind.
