In New Mexico, where I now live, there is no shortage of inspiration. The desert has its secrets, and revelations. Even the skies are shocking with their brilliant blues and immense billowing clouds. In this environment on can see evidence of human occupation for over a millennium. I sometimes also paint about political circumstances. In some instances I have used the Virgen of Guadalupe as a witness, as in Paz y Justicia. I painted about January 6, Ukraine, and Iran Then there are portraits, floods, dances and feasts. Many paintings were inspired by time spent in Cuba, Spain and Africa. Please click on the icon to see the full image.
